Russ Mitchell brings over thirty years of fencing experience, and a keen focus on body mechanics, to his instruction, whether historical Hungarian Hussar sabre, "traditional Italo-Hungarian lightsaber," or any of the other methods with which he is familiar. An active historical researcher, he has edited and published numerous medieval and modern fencing texts, and is the founder of Winged Sabre Historical Fencing.
